Denver-September Coliseum Show.

     The Fall Gem and Mineral Show in Denver is held during the middle of September every year.  There are several venues  The main show is at the Merchandise Mart (off I-25 and 58th Avenue, two hotel venues at the Ramada (formerly the Holiday Inn) and another across the street (The Travel Lodge? - both located at I-25 and I70).  Another is located in Golden (about 15 miles away).  The largest venue, and longest running (9 days) is the Coliseum Show (just off I-70 and Brighton Blvd.).  The Denver Fall Show is the second largest Gem & Mineral Show in the US.  The Tucson Gem & Mineral Show is the largest in the US and the world, with over 40 venues with an average of 200 dealers at each location and it lasts over 14 days.  You can't see it all in 14 days.  The main show at Denver and Golden lasts three days.  The hotel venues last 7 days.   The Coliseum show is 9 days.  You can see all of the Denver shows in three or four days, but you will be tired and on sensory overload.
