Amphibian Replicas

Amphibians are a group of vertebrates that spend their early life in the water and later adapt to a life that is semi-aquatic and land dwelling. Animal life began in the seas.  During the Permain Period (280 - 245 million years ago), life began making a transition to the land.  Amphibians must return to the water to lay their eggs and for their offspring to hatch and begin the initial stages of their lives; later transitioning to the land, as they mature.
